I am an educator, coach, and facilitator dedicated to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments. With 15 years of experience in special education within Further Education and Training (FET), I uplift educators and empower learners from diverse backgrounds.
Currently, I serve as the Professional Learning and Development Coordinator at City of Dublin ETB, while also being an adjunct assistant professor at the National College of Ireland. I contribute to Postgraduate courses on Diversity and Inclusion and in Assessment and Feedback for FET educators. Additionally, I am an associate fellow at Trinity College Dublin, passionately lecturing on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in a prestigious Postgraduate Certificate course focused on Diversity and Inclusion for FET, a program I helped shape as part of the design team. I am honored to have received the 2022 inaugural Education and Training Boards Ireland Excellence in Equality award, recognizing my efforts in advancing equity in education.
Beyond my professional pursuits, as an ADHD, bisexual educator, and mother to a young adult with ADHD, I understand the importance of acknowledgment of diversity, representation and value of visibility in the FET sector. I continually explore how a sense of belonging and trust can create truly inclusive learning environments for all.
On a personal level, I am a devoted wife and mother. Our family has faced challenges that profoundly shape my values and perspectives. Navigating the Irish mental health, care, and criminal justice systems has given me invaluable insights that inform my practice. Together, we actively work towards healing and growth for a better future for all.
Engaging with my coaching, facilitation, or talks and workshops for educators means experiencing a heartfelt approach backed by personal and professional wisdom. My dedication to fostering inclusion, equity, belonging, and diversity, along with my resilience, makes me a true advocate for transformative education.
Join me in this journey where passion and purpose unite to create lasting change in society. Whether you're an educator seeking to refine your teaching methods, a leader exploring your approaches, an institution striving for inclusivity, or an individual seeking guidance, I am here to empower and support you, helping you thrive in a diverse and equitable environment.

The purpose of these workshops was explore the importance of inclusive language, and to support DDLETB staff in celebrating inclusion and diversity amongst their learners and colleagues.
